but Microsoft Windows 7 says Please wait… for 15 minutes already!
This OS is ridiculous. No way to check what is actually screwing it.
I will not play with this clean boot or something to troubleshoot this crap.
If you have encountered an issue with starting some of the application as room please make sure that:
– you can run some of the apps as root
<- this is not safe and wise, please narrow down to specific application you only need.
- you run this in the terminal as normal user:
– finally make sure you run your VNC session over SSH:
ssh -L 5901:localhost:5901 -N -f -l rocky sshserver.mydomain.com
ssh -L 5901:127.0.0.1:5901 -N -f -l rocky 192.168.1.100
If you wish to connect to host with NX running on LXDE please do the following:

– Select: ‘New virtual desktop’
Please follow THIS useful tutorial.
If you get to the HP System MH and there is nothing listed. No signs of nice green circles with ticks inside please make sure the HP Insight Management WBEM Providers are installed.
It is not a new that HP is utilizing Open Source technology for it’s needs. HP for long was and still is a major contributor in Open Source community. While installing their servers at least 2 things are Linux based:
– Intelligent Provisioning system on the server motherboard
– Service Pack firmware update software
If you have installed a second array controller on the raiser card e.g. Smart Array P420 controller and for some reason Intelligent Provisioning is still not showing up the correct setup please continue reading this.
HP support has asked me to disable the B120i embedded controller in the BIOS.
Now the array was properly recognized, but for some reason the DVD with Windows was not booing up.
Please make sure that below is in place.
Boot Controller Order -> HP Smart Array P420 Controller to position 1
Disabling the embedded controller is not wise that is why the DVD does not work and you should change this setting instead to let it work:
System Options -> SATA Controller Options -> Embedded SATA Configuration > Enable SATA AHCI Support
instead of Enable Dynamic HP Smart Array B120i RAID Support
